Academic Policy:

In relation to rules of attendance, conduct, dress code, discipline, and homework – the school follows strict guidelines based on international standards necessary to maintain a healthy learning environment. Educational policies are designed to cater to every student’s needs for growth and personal development. 

Language Policy:

The language policy aims to consolidate ideas and beliefs at Global Mission School regarding language and language teaching. It outlines systems and strategies in place to support the development of English as a medium of instruction as well as the upkeep and learning of our mother tongue in the school community.

Assessment Policy:

Assessment plays a vital role in student’s learning and achievement. It helps us gain insight into their progress, plan and guide instruction, and provide helpful feedback to students. This policy aims to clarify fair and just assessment at all levels in the school.

Homework Policy:

Homework is essential for gaining additional knowledge and reviewing the learning progress of every individual. It encourages students to develop the self-discipline to work independently, which is a crucial skill for their future.

Proper instructions followed by students help them learn time management and develop a sense of responsibility. Homework enables parents to involve themselves directly in the learning program, work with them and help their children in their lessons.

Admission Policy:

Global Mission School aims to provide a high-quality educational experience through a fair and transparent admission system and avoid unfair discrimination on the grounds of disability, gender, religion, or belief.

The policy ensures proper admission procedures concerning each application received for admission. It also seeks to set selection criteria that are transparent, fair, and consistent and implement practices that continue to produce valued outcomes.

Damage of School Property:

Sometimes students accidentally or deliberately destroy damage or misuse the school property, such as books, laboratory equipment, furniture, building, or any other property of the school.

Sometimes this equipment can be extremely costly, and the damage could be beyond any means of repair. This policy is to protect the school’s assets by ensuring that every student should take reasonable care of school property. 

ICT Policy:

We believe technology should become an integral part of the classroom. Students are encouraged to learn knowledge of computers for research, projects, and collaboration for various subjects and activities that directly or indirectly support their academic learning.

The purpose of the ICT Policy is to provide a framework for the use of Computer Resources by the students in a responsible manner.

Communication:

The communication policy clarifies the communication process to all concerned for a better and more effective system. This policy will give parents clarity on the procedures set in our administrative work, including Office Policy, timings, and responsibilities of people.

They will get a deeper insight into how the communication process works with the school with various stakeholders, including teachers, administrative staff, and management.

School Timing & Duration:

School timings and duration have been fixed to keep learning / working smooth and ongoing. The school duration has been decided on, taking into consideration the academic and extra-curricular needs of the children. This policy ensures that the school provides sufficient instruction about time to students and parents.

Admission & Fee:

The policies covered in this section will provide an overview of the process and guidelines to be followed at the time of admission, details related to deposit and refund of fees, damage, and loss of school property, and policies about communication with the school.

Fee & Imprest Policy:

The school is responsible for informing parents enrolling their child’s about the fee charges and related procedures. Since the school fees are variable and differ yearly, please refer to the office administration for specific and clear instructions about the school fees schedule and payments.

Library Policy:

The School library has a wide range of books and resources available for the teaching faculty and students. Discipline is to be maintained inside the library to maintain the reading environment. Proper care should be exercised while using books or borrowing them.
